A few days ago, my dad and I went to look at a car. And, we bought it! My mom, dad and I payed for it and we love it! It's mostly there for me to learn how to drive, but will probably be used for other stuff too, even if we said from the start that it was just for learning purpouses.
Anyway, I'm so happy! Even if it's 20 years old and a sedan, I can't get over the fact that we have a car. I've lived my whole life, or, well, since I was two, without a car. We've lived in the city all the time so there's never been any need for a car. But since I almost never get to go in a car, I love every minute with it.
It's a Ford Sierra -89, and it's grey so we've named him Gandalf the grey
The last owner took really good care of him, so it looks pretty good even if it's old.
We washed him today, and now he's so shiny! I mailed the papers for getting permission to drive yesterday, so within three weeks I should have it. Then, we just have to take a short course, my dad and I, and then I can start to learn! I have two years until I'm 18 and can get my drivers licens, so I hope I'll be able to get it really fast when I turn 18.
I can't wait, freedom here I come!

My first car was bought from my great-uncle Albert, so we named him "Albert" in his honor. He was an old 1955 Oldsmobile Rocket (older than I was at the time). He was a real tank of a car, great for a young person learning to drive.
Gandalf seemes to be kind of similar to Albert, Gandalf is older than me and seemes like a rock, very reliable and perfect to learn how to drive!
My dad came up with the name, since he's old and grey. I really like it, it feels right for him
